      Hi from Australia!

Down under just sounds a little dirty for an intro..

I have been learning alto for around 2 years and recently set up a JAM kind of thing called Concrete Wholes. we play in a underground car park in East Brunswick (Victoria) which is as a little ‘dirty sax’ area if you wanted to put a sound to it. We just have fun, no practice and anyone from the community is welcome.

If your in or visiting Melbourne (Australia) look me up on facebook – Jas Fiestra – we’ll do fun and stuff with noise!

I have a soprano also, makes me dizzy! Hey.. i’m only 153 cm tall! anyway, I’m a massive fan of jazz – I just can’t play it very well yet…

oh – i am legally blind, a lawyer, migration agent and have a hosting / website development business too… but that’s work – not sax!

And this song has been in my head for 3 days now!

      cheers,
      Jas

Got a nice, gritty sound on your Sax for sure, is that a Selmer Mark VI you’re using? I recognize that “Selmer” sound in your playing, you sound great! I would love to have one, they’re so expensive. The quality of your recording is great, the one thing I have to replace is my mic and pair it up with a portable USB interface. Great stuff and great choice of song, hadn’t thought about this one on the Saxophone. Nice to meet you and welcome to Johnny’s site 🙂

          Hey Michael,

That link wasn’t to me… Just a piece I can’t get out of my head… Sorry for misleading. I have a couple of sound cloud pieces on my Jas Fiestra Facebook – but i’m really a beginner.

I have been using a 1936 Buscher with Otto link and leather ligature. My other horn is a Tenby pro – just a template horn that is well set up and a Vito soprano from the 80’s.

2 years practicing and I am here to learn how to play.

Love that sound on the purple rain clip though…
