I have the Texas Tornados backing tracks to “Who Were You Thinking Of”: No sheet music; just me and the backing track and lead singer. Backing track is in the key of G major. I am blowing in the key of A major “Who were you thinking of…when we were making love last night…”etc Any ideas? I’m thing I blow starting in C#

Lyrics
Who were you thinkin’ of
When we were makin’ love
Last night?
Was it a good-lookin’ stranger
Or a close friend of mine?
You didn’t wanna quit
When we was into it
Last night
Who were you thinkin’ of
When we were lovin’ last night?
Who were you thinkin’ of
When I was makin’ love
To you?
There was a smile on your face
I ain’t seen in some time
You got more out of it
Than I put into it
Last night
Who were you thinkin’ of
When we were lovin’ last night?
Who were you thinkin’ of
When we were makin’ love
Last night?
There was a smile on your face
I ain’t seen in some time
You didn’t wanna quit
When we was into it
Last night
Who were you thinkin’ of
When we were lovin’ last night?
Who were you thinkin’ of
When we were makin’ love
Last night?
Was it a good-lookin’ stranger
Or a close friend of mine?
You didn’t wanna quit
When we was into it
Last night
Who were you thinkin’ of
When we were lovin’ last night?
Who were you thinkin’ of
When we were lovin’ last night?

I’m trying to pick the melody on my guitar in the key of A major. My backing tracks are in the Key of G major. No mater what key. i can always transpose. Let’s say I’m playing it in C major starting on the 5th. G G G G…F E—–G G G G…F E…..F G THEN I GET lost on WAS IT A GOOD LOOKING STRANGER…..OR A CLOSE FRIEND OF MINE
