Available With Skype: Personal Saxophone Lessons
It’s great that some members are asking to get personal saxophone lessons. I have seen a lot of enthusiasm for learning to play the saxophone through the membership here and in personal emails…that’s great!
Of course. like any other professional player and instructor I would always advise a student to take personal one-on-one lessons. Especially during the first phase as bad habits with embouchure and proper breathing can easily develop and with no guidance these habits can become harder to break later on.

You might have some things you’re not sure about in your playing… or you might be struggling with a certain aspect of your playing… or you would like some advice on what the most important things you should be working on are from where you are at the moment.

We can use the technology available to many of us and get a good lesson in no matter where you are! After several requests I’ve decided to do it and this page is where we will set it up from.
What You Will Need For a One-On-One Online Lesson
that’s an OOOOL… I just made up a new acronym, coool!
We use Skype, and to do that you need to have a camera on your computer. Most newer computers will have one so that won’t be a problem for most, but if your computer doesn’t you can either get one that does, or you can get a web cam and attach it to your computer. This is easy and inexpensive to do.
From there, we need to book a date and time which works for both you and me. Before the lesson it will be best if we communicate by email as to where you’re at. You can tell me what you’re striving for at the moment or, you can leave it up to me and after listening I can tell you what I think you need to strive for to achieve the quickest results for improving your playing.

3. Shortly after that I will send you an email with my available times. You reply with your choice, or one that you can do and I’ll respond. We should be able to come up with a time that will work for both of us, if not you get a refund and at least we tried!
