Great video with the pink panther and a little of 007 (on sax). Just watched the latest movie from 007 spectra last night (what a coincidence). Loved his improvisation through out the video. Sxpoet, I been starting to try to memorize your great idea of putting the scales in my mind by numbers in order to recall the notes when I try to improvise 357 or 2357 ect. This morning while I was getting my coffee i was just thinking what numbers go with what scales. I think your IDEA is really going to help me out to be able to put together different notes into improvisations in a organized manner. At least I hope so. Thanks forthe tip!

Marc, keep it simple… those chords all use the same scale, the one.

like i say Marc – its just a bit of fun!
At the moment i’ve only tried it out on one scale – D major.
i’ve been doing it for a couple of weeks, i find it very easy to
jump around the 11 numbers in D major at random,
Next i’m going to try Bb major scale, memorise a new set of 11 key positions for Bb major, if i find i can remember the key positions for both scales, i’ll see how many more scales i can recall. I might find it too big a task. its just an xperiment im conducting to find a quicker way to recall key positions in scales
