yeah – i’m not a die hard fan of any specific music otherwise i wouldn’t be on this site (different strokes for different folks).
And if i hear a track i sometimes go on utube and that often pulls up different styles of the same song (like harlem nocturn), so i pond hop around various mediums.
Before i picked up a sax 2 years ago, i couldn’t name any sax player – just shows the influence they had on me! The only sax player i could name was kenny G, and thats only because my wife had all his albums.
In 57 years the only thing that grabbed me was the singer – the insrumentalists – i couldn’t name them (different strokes for different strokes) – its only when i picked up a sax and played it, then i was addicted to it.
