So one of the studio tracks I’ve been asked to do, is…yup, ” respect “. In all honesty, I’m more concerned as to who is going to sing it. We all know this great tune, with a short but stunning tenorsax solo by the great King Curtis. I’ve got it down to the best of my knowledge, but I wanted to ask, anybody else play this ?? Care to swap changes re the solo. Gotta fly. My friend has just arrived, hoping to put my $$$ into PayPal. I found out yesterday the horn is Chinese….eeeeekkk !!!
      No thanks !!

ITS IN THE BAG !! YEAH !! But, I really want to emphasize the importance of breathing from the diaphragm. About ten years back, I was playing a solo finishing on an uphill chromatic triplet thing I use. The tank was empty, but I had to finish it. I did, but tore a chest muscle, literally felt it rip.I’ve been so into getting this down, I’ve aggravated it again. No worries, I’ll be miked up tomorrow, but yeah….DIAPHRAGM !!…OUCH !!!!!
