      That Selmer mouthpiece should read S80 C* NOT 6* I must have had an Otto Link on the brain. I was reading up on those metal mouthpieces. Maybe a Guardala down the road.

        Ok. Doing the first C scale and making some good sounds – then I’m told I need to tongue the mouthpiece. My brain understands this concept and my mouth knows what it needs to do. Putting both together. Not so much. LOL!

          to help with tonguing – just keep say/emphasing the word ta ta ta while playing – thats a good tonguing word to start with

            Had a good week doing the ta tas. Last night in Green Lake Wisconsin my wife and I saw the Corky Siegel Chamber Blues Band and Ernie Watts was playing the Tenor saxophone. What a treat!
