      Hey Johnny, thanks for helping me out today, with a little practice on those insights of yours I’m confident I’ll be able to play that high F#; it’s trying to come out. It’s amazing how that bottom lip helps v.s. biting on the mp. I’ll get with you again about beginning of March or so, once every 3 months.
      Is the fingering for the high F# on the Tenor the same as the Alto? Correct me if I’m wrong, but I messed around with it just a little bit after our lesson and sure seems like it’s the same fingering? Seems like these higher notes are easier on the Tenor than the Alto.

        yes same fingering on tenor. they are easier because they’re not as high of notes as they are on alto, and conversely, the lower notes are easier on alto than tenor.
