The G# has 2 basic positions that work very well but are very different from each other. The one that will make the most sense to you depends on which fingering you use to hit the G from the previous lesson.
Basic position 1
Basic position 2
Playing the altissimo A
Even though I am recommending you play the two side by side consecutively, you can of course switch them around for any one of the fingering positions, as long as you’re able to play the note and it’s in tune you are playing the right one!
My suggestions with the “basic position 1” and “basic position 2” are what might work the smoothest regarding the transition between notes.
